Location: tba Start: July 1, 2026 Duration: 3–9 months Workload: flexible Remote work component: hybrid Background: We are looking for an interim project manager for the German Pay Transparency Act (m/f/d). The project aims to implement the operational and strategic requirements of the Pay Transparency Act and related topics such as equal pay, compensation structures, and transparency processes. We are seeking an experienced individual with in-depth expertise in HR/compensation and experience in transformation and change projects. Responsibilities: Analysis of existing compensation and salary structures; Review of current processes with regard to legal requirements of the German Pay Transparency Act; Identification of risks, areas for action, and optimization potential; Development of transparent compensation and comparison models; Creation of evaluations, benchmarks, and recommendations for action; Close collaboration with HR, Finance, Legal, and the Works Council; Support with internal communication and change processes; Development and implementation of standardized processes for pay transparency; Support with potential adjustments in HR systems and reporting structures; Preparation of management decision-making documents; Management of the overall project, including timeline, stakeholder management, and implementation. Requirements: Must Have: Several years of experience as an interim manager or project manager in the HR/compensation environment; Very good knowledge of the German Pay Transparency Act and ideally other regulatory requirements; Experience in analyzing compensation structures and equal pay issues; Experience in project management and transformation projects; Proficient use of HR KPIs, reporting, and data analysis; Strong communication skills and experience in stakeholder management; Experience in working with works councils; Structured and pragmatic approach Working style: Fluent German. Nice to have: Experience in international corporate structures; knowledge of SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, Workday or comparable HR systems; experience with compensation benchmarking and grading models; background in HR compliance or labor law; experience in change management and communication projects; knowledge of other ESG or governance requirements in the HR environment.
