Description
Good afternoon,
To support our AI Center of Enablement (AI CoE), we are looking for an experienced Generative AI Engineer / AI Consultant to support the RAISE project (AI-powered software development across the Group) and other strategic AI initiatives.

Project:
Start: ASAP
Duration: initial contract till the end of the year (high chance of extension afterwards)
Type of employment: Freelance
Capacity: Up to 4 days per week
Location: Hybrid working- on-site 3 days/week in Vienna
Project languages: English (Fluent) German (Fluent)


Profile:

Strong Software Engineering background.
Excellent Python development skills.
Proven hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and Azure OpenAI (or comparable platforms).
Solid expertise in RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), AI Agents, and Cloud-Based Integrations.
Experience building and delivering production-ready AI solutions in enterprise environments.
Knowledge of modern AI frameworks and technologies, including Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, LangGraph, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and LLMOps.
Strong hands-on mentality with a delivery-focused mindset.


Tasks:
Develop Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) for innovative Generative AI use cases.
Design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) and Azure OpenAI.
Develop and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and AI Agents.
Create reusable AI components and frameworks for enterprise-wide adoption.
Integrate AI solutions into existing enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and business processes.
Ensure compliance with Responsible AI, Security, and Governance requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders, software engineers, and architects to industrialize and scale AI solutions across the organization.
