We are looking for an experienced Android HMI Lead Engineer to support the development and integration of next-generation Automotive Infotainment (IVI) solutions on Android Automotive platforms.
? Key Responsibilities
• Develop, integrate, and deliver IVI Head Unit software solutions
• Collaborate with global engineering teams, architects, designers, and product owners
• Develop and implement intuitive Android Automotive HMI solutions
• Act as a customer-facing engineer for technical discussions and requirement clarification
• Reproduce and analyze software issues using vehicle or bench setups
• Perform Root Cause Analysis, debugging, troubleshooting, and critical bug fixing
• Support software integration and build-related issues
• Coordinate with offshore development teams for efficient issue resolution
• Provide technical and project updates while identifying risks and dependencies
? Required Skills
? Strong experience in Android UI Development
? Hands-on experience with HMI Design & Implementation
? Experience with Android Automotive / IVI
? Exposure to Android Framework concepts
? Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
? Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
? Fluent German & Business-Level English – Mandatory
? Valid German Driving License – Mandatory
