Application Governance Lead

We are Remobi - we help businesses scale and innovate through high-performing, remote nearshore tech teams.

We're hiring an Application Governance Lead to support a global energy technology group in managing its Real Estate application landscape as a single, integrated portfolio.

This role owns governance, lifecycle management, demand intake, and vendor strategy - turning business requirements into a coherent, value-driven application ecosystem.

What You'll Do
Own and maintain the application portfolio, inventory, ownership model and decision rights
Govern demand intake, prioritisation and release decisions across applications
Drive lifecycle management, rationalisation and consolidation
Manage vendor and licensing strategies
Mature business requirements to decision-ready status before implementation
Coordinate cross-application dependencies and integration impacts
Act as Business Owner for the application landscape
Run the central governance forum for digital and process demand

What We're Looking For
Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science or related field
8+ years in application management, digital transformation, enterprise systems or IT/business governance
Experience managing application portfolios, demand management and vendor relationships
Experience working with business stakeholders and IT organisations in complex corporate environments
Strong stakeholder management, facilitation and governance/decision-making skills
