Description

For an exciting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations / Supply Chain Management project, we are looking for an experienced Senior D365 F&O/SCM Solution Architect with a strong background in Asset Management, Engineer-to-Order (ETO) and Service processes.
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 months + extension option
Workload: Full-time preferred
Contract: Freelance
Your Responsibilities
Design and further develop the end-to-end D365 F&O/SCM solution architecture
Design processes around As-Built structures, Asset Structures and Installed Base
Define how As-Built structures can be transferred into Asset/Service structures
Design processes for maintaining Asset and As-Built structures through Service and Maintenance Work Orders
Advise on D365 Asset Management, Asset Hierarchies and related service processes
Design solutions for Engineer-to-Order (ETO) and Configure-to-Order (CTO) environments
Ensure the correct handling of BOMs, product variants, serialized parts and batch-tracked components
Design the interaction between D365 Project Management & Accounting, SCM and Procurement
Review existing solution concepts and evaluate D365 standard functionality vs. customizations
Support the integration of D365 with PLM, Engineering, MES and external service applications
Work closely with business stakeholders, IT, architects and implementation partners
Your Profile
Several years of experience as a D365 F&O / SCM Solution Architect
Strong hands-on functional knowledge of D365 Asset Management
Experience with Asset Structures, Asset Hierarchies, As-Built structures and/or Installed Base concepts
Strong understanding of Maintenance, Service and Work Order processes
Proven experience with Engineer-to-Order and/or Configure-to-Order
Strong understanding of BOMs, product variants, serialized and batch-tracked components
Experience with D365 Project Management & Accounting and its interaction with SCM and Procurement
Project experience within machinery, plant engineering, industrial equipment or complex manufacturing
Ability to design complex end-to-end business and solution architectures
Experience with integrations to PLM, Engineering, MES or external service applications
Strong ability to evaluate standard functionality vs. customization
Confident working with business stakeholders, IT teams and external implementation partners
