Expert (m/f/d) Modeling and optimization of Power BI data models

For our client we are looking for an Expert (m/f/d) Modeling and Optimization of Power BI Data Models starting in November

The tasks include:

- Analysis of two existing Power BI data models and identification of optimization opportunities.

This includes:

- (Re)creation and linking of fact and dimension tables (if necessary)

- Efficient data preparation from Excel and AfO sources

- Efficient determination of stock changes at order level and per month

- Efficient determination of provisions for outstanding invoices table at order level and per month

- Independent connection of these two Power BI data models:

- Inventory changes

- Actual values + master data for WBS elements and orders

- Independent creation, commenting and maintenance of measures and calculated columns

- Revision of existing visualizations

- Documentation of the changes made and recommendations for further maintenance

- Comparison of the results of the developed data model with the results of the existing one and, if necessary, subsequent deviation analysis and error correction

- Overview of the results before and after optimization of the data model

- All necessary information and documents are provided in advance



Skills:

- Proven experience in modeling and optimization of Power BI data models

- Very good understanding of business processes, in particular:

- Inventory changes

- Posting logic in SAP (e.g. sign logic)

- accruals

- Experience in dealing with AfO data sources in Power BI is an advantage
