Creation, maintenance and optimization of test cases based on functional and technical requirements
Execution of tests (functional, integrative and regression-related)
Documentation of test results
Analyzing and processing error messages in collaboration with development and specialist departments
Use of tools such as Jira for test planning, defect tracking and progress documentation
Carrying out interface tests with Postman (REST/SOAP APIs)
Creation and evaluation of SQL queries for data analysis, test preparation and result validation
Analytical collaboration in the conception of the requirement as part of the agile team
=== SKILLS ===
• Confident handling of SQL (DB2)
• Experience in test case creation, test execution and test documentation
• Knowledge of test automation (e.g. Selenium, JUnit)
• Experience in using Jira or comparable test and project management tools
• Knowledge of batch error analysis and mainframe monitoring tools
• Working with MVS JCL to control and monitor batch processes in the mainframe environment (knowledge of MVS JCL (Job Control Language))
• Basic knowledge or experience in COBOL programming
• Experience in the financial sector
• Experience with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban)
