For our client in the energy sector, we are seeking a Microsoft Dynamics Business Analyst (m/f/d) - OCR / Xpertdoc) starting in December 2025. This is a full-time position, primarily remote. Responsibilities include: - Analyzing existing business processes, structures, and interfaces. - Translating business requirements into technical specifications for the client application. - Gathering and evaluating business requirements as a basis for performance-related discussions with relevant stakeholders. - Creating requirements, process, and solution specifications. - Conducting gap analyses and identifying optimization potential. - Developing KPI definitions and success criteria. - Providing performance-related consulting for the implementation of recommended measures (without operational responsibility). - Preparing and moderating workshops and interviews, and delivering technical presentations of completed deliverables at agreed handover points. - Documenting results and developing decision-making documents for management. Required Experience: - Several years of experience as a Business Analyst in the MS Dynamics environment - Several years of experience as a Business Analyst in complex IT system landscapes (ideally in the energy or utilities sector) - Experience in process mapping, gap analysis, and the creation of functional specifications - Practical experience collaborating with IT architects, developers, and business units in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment - Experience with cross-system interface analyses (e.g., OCR, hotline systems, archive systems, backend integrations) - Proven experience in documentation, creating decision-making templates, and management reporting Required Skills: - Strong competence in process and requirements analysis of complex IT and business processes - Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (and ideally for OCR, Xpertdoc) - Proficient use of modeling and documentation tools (e.g., BPMN, Visio, Confluence, Jira) - Strong analytical skills for identifying optimization potential and KPIs - Fluent German and very good English skills
