For our client, a leading bank based in Zurich, we are seeking a Finance Project Consultant with strong experience in cost allocation, economic profit frameworks, and performance management projects to support the review and optimization of the bank’s profitability and steering framework
Please note that due to applicable Swiss legislation, we can only consider applications from Swiss citizens, EU citizens, and individuals with a valid work permit.
Remote work from abroad is not possible.
Tasks
• Evaluate and redesign the existing cost allocation frameworks (e.g. standard process costs, IT cost allocation) to ensure transparency, consistency, and strategic relevance
• Support and advise the core project working group as a sparring partner, providing conceptual input and analytical expertise throughout all project phases
• Lead and develop dedicated work streams, ensuring the application of industry best practices in the areas of economic profit measurement, cost allocation, and performance management
• Contribute to short-term deliverables on priority topics such as variable compensation frameworks and profitability steering enhancements
• Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across finance, business, and technology to align methodologies and ensure effective implementation of the revised framework
Requirements
• Strong academic record: University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or equivalent, preferably at Master’s degree level
• 3-5 years of work experience in consulting/Big Four or project management
• Expert knowledge related to cost allocation, economic profit, and steering frameworks
• Very good knowledge and understanding of the Banking business
• Strong stakeholder management across all seniority levels
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
